Massimo we bought as a yearling because he was so nice and we wanted him for covering Taina and Koranya as well as Tianu and Divina. Massimo has been registered as Sonstiger Tölter (gaited horse) with full pedigree; he is the son of a Peruvian mare (Paso Peruano) and a stallion from Brazil (Mangalarga Marchador), both breeds of gaited horses with a strong spanish influence. He was born in 2004, his hight is about 14.3hh more or less. Massimo has been born as a buckskin (yellow dun in Great Britain), but has changed to grey with black main and tail. 

In 2006 he covered Koranya and he made this very well at his first attempt, although he was only two years old and she didn't behave nice to him - as she is a dominant mare. So he got a fantastic son. We regret that Koranya and Taina now are old, perhaps to old to get a (last) foal? 

In the summer of 2008 an english girl began breaking him in, and he behaved very well, always willing to do what we wanted him to do. He never moved when she was getting on his back, keen on learning new things. After that he sometimes was ridden by children and he always did well. For more training we brought him to a professional swiss rider in march 2010 and he showed a lot of gait.  

Massimo is registered as a stud stallion at studbook HB 1, section E (gaited horses), as a dream-gene carrying horse, by the swiss association SCS Special Color Schweiz, the first european association for the breeding of special coloured horses. 

Massimo is for sale as stallion or as a gelding, ideal for a young girl or a woman who is looking for a gentle, cooperative horse with capabilities for widespread riding and driving purposes as well as for breeding. If there is an interest you may buy Massimo together with his buckskin son Milano or for breeders: together with the gaited palomino mare Divina.
